James Moore joins the Beta family

Betamotor is proud to announce that James Moore has joined the official Hard Enduro team alongside Alfredo Gomez. A talented rider on the international scene, James joins Beta after fourteen years with KTM, bringing with him a wealth of experience at the highest level, despite being only 19 years old!

James is already recognised as one of the emerging stars of World Hard Enduro thanks to a riding style that is measured and consistent, but also aggressive when necessary

In recent years, Moore has already achieved impressive results in the following international competitions:

  • 2025 Junior Hard Enduro World Champion (FIM), achieved thanks to an extraordinary season marked by solid and progressively improving performances in world events, including Valleys Hard Enduro, Hixpania, and Getzen Rodeo.
  • 4th place overall at the 2025 Abestone Hard Enduro, his best result in the HEWC World Championship, with a show of strength in the difficult mountains of the Tuscan Apennines.
  • Overall victory at the 2025 Roof of Africa, one of the toughest and most iconic races in the world, where James ended Wade Young’s multi-year dominance. A feat that definitively established him among the greats of Hard Enduro.

With his move to Beta, James Moore is set to open an exciting new chapter in his career, joining Felix Bähker, Tom Scales, David Clark and Bevan Prost in the AG Racing Team Beta – led by Alfredo Gomez. The common goal is clear: to grow and take Beta to the top of world Hard Enduro.

James’ arrival has also been made possible thanks to ROCKSTEADY (PTY) LTD, Beta’s distributor in South Africa, which is doing an excellent job of consolidating the brand’s presence in the country and promoting Hard Enduro through a solid, passionate, and ever-expanding network of riders and enthusiasts.

Fabrizio Dini – Team Manager Beta Factory Team Enduro: “James is one of the most promising young riders in the world. His results speak for themselves. With his determination, natural talent, and winning mentality, we are confident that he will represent Beta’s colours to the fullest in international competitions.”
