Jarne Bervoets will ride for the Cat Moto Bauerschmidt KTM team in 2027. The young Belgian switches to KTM after one season with VHR Yamaha and will compete in the EMX250 European Championship for the second consecutive year.
Bervoets made his debut in the highly competitive EMX250 class this season, gaining valuable experience with VHR Yamaha. After his first year on a 250cc machine, the Belgian has now opted for a new challenge with Cat Moto Bauerschmidt KTM.
By joining the German team, Bervoets hopes to take the next step in his development in 2027. While last season was mainly about adapting to the more powerful bike and the high level of competition in EMX250, he will aim to establish himself more firmly towards the front of the field next year.
For Cat Moto Bauerschmidt KTM, Bervoets’ arrival strengthens the team ahead of the new season. The Belgian will have the opportunity to build on the experience he has gained and continue developing in a championship where competition is particularly fierce.
With one season of EMX250 experience behind him and a new KTM beneath him, Bervoets heads into 2027 ready for an important second season in the class.
