Bauer and Ernecker Finish First and Second in Final EMX125 Championship Standings

Norman KTM Factory Rookies concluded the EMX125 season in strong fashion at the MXGP of Türkiye. Already crowned European Champion, Ricardo Bauer won both races, while teammate Moritz Ernecker finished third overall on the day and secured second place in the final championship standings.

Bauer, who secured the EMX125 title at the previous round in Sweden, started the weekend in Türkiye with the fastest time in qualifying. He continued his strong performance in the opening race, riding to victory.

Bauer was also the rider to beat in the second race. After the start, he ran in second position for several laps before taking the lead and once again claiming the victory. With a 1-1 scorecard, the newly crowned EMX125 Champion brought his season to a convincing close.

Moritz Ernecker also enjoyed a strong weekend. After setting the fifth-fastest time in qualifying, he finished sixth in the opening race. In the second race, he delivered an impressive performance and rode to second place.

With a 6-2 scorecard, Ernecker finished third overall on the day. More importantly, he secured second place in the final standings of the 2026 EMX125 Championship.

Norman KTM Factory Rookies therefore concludes the European season with the EMX125 title for Ricardo Bauer and second place in the championship for Moritz Ernecker.
