KOVE to Enter MXGP with Factory Team in 2027

KOVE has officially announced that it will enter the FIM Motocross World Championship from 2027 onwards. The Chinese manufacturer will compete in the MXGP class with its own factory team and will line up with two riders.

Preparations for the debut are already well underway. Under the guidance of team manager Tom Steensels, work is underway on the development and testing of the motorcycle, while the structure of the new KOVE Factory Racing Team is being built at the same time.

For KOVE, the move into MXGP marks the beginning of a long-term project. The manufacturer’s goal is to establish itself over time and compete at the highest level of international motocross.

The identities of the two riders who will race the KOVE factory bikes in 2027 have not yet been revealed. The full rider and team line-up will be announced at a later date.
