Dylan Ferrandis has announced that he will bring his professional racing career to an end after this weekend. The Frenchman will compete in the final SMX event of the season for the last time as a professional, bringing an end to a long international career that took Ferrandis from Europe to the United States.
Ferrandis announced the news himself ahead of his final race. The experienced Frenchman says he has been riding a motocross bike since the age of three and looks back with great satisfaction on the life that motocross has given him.
Dylan Ferrandis: “This weekend’s race will be my last as a professional rider. After that, I will step away from the sport. I have been riding a motocross bike since I was three years old and have raced all over the world. This life has been exactly what I always wanted!”
Ferrandis enjoyed a long career at the highest level and moved to the United States after his years in the World Championship. There, he became one of the most successful European riders of his generation in the American championships.
Ferrandis spent his final season with Troy Lee Designs Red Bull Ducati Factory Racing. He was part of the new American factory team with which Ducati made its debut in the American Supercross and motocross championships in 2026.
Ferrandis wants to bring his career to an end in the best possible way together with the team.
