The Motul ACU British Motocross Championship crosses into Scotland this weekend as Duns hosts Round Seven, the penultimate stop of the 2026 season, and the final opportunity for the chasing pack to claw back ground before everything is settled at Blaxhall.
RFX 125
Drew Stock has worn the red plate all year and takes a commanding 273 points into Duns. Harley Marczak sits 77 points behind in second and is back after sitting out Round Six, with Joel Winstanley-Dawson close behind him in third on 184. Archie Stapley (164), Lucas Moncrief (155) and Hayden Statt (146) round out the top six. Stock’s advantage is now large enough that he could seal the title in Scotland, but Marczak, Winstanley-Dawson and Statt will all be racing to keep the fight alive.
MX2
MX2 has been the wild card of the season, and Round Six, arguably the best racing 2026 has produced, did nothing to change that. Charlie Heyman leads on 258 points, 57 clear of Gyan Doensen in second. Ben Mustoe (171) sits just ahead of Tommy Searle (169), who dropped a place after pulling out of Round Six in practice, with Charlie Richmond (165) and Billy Askew (160) close behind, only 11 points cover third through sixth. Heyman’s lead puts the title within reach at Duns, but this midfield battle is far from decided.
JMR U21
The U21 standings mirror MX2 at the top, with Heyman (263) leading Doensen (219) by 44 points. Further down, Charlie Richmond has moved into third on 188, just 2 points clear of Ben Mustoe in fourth (186). Billy Askew (171) and Ollie Colmer (167) round out a top six that’s still very much up for grabs.
Apico MX1
Conrad Mewse leads MX1 on 265 points, but Oriol Oliver, fresh off a two-race-win weekend at Canada Heights is closing fast, just 16 points back. Ben Watson (232) and Taylor Hammal (209) sit third and fourth, with Tristan Purdon (166) and Tom Grimshaw (140) completing the top six. This is the tightest title fight of the four classes, and all signs point to it running all the way to the Blaxhall finale.
With three of the four championships potentially decided this weekend, Duns is a round no MXGB fan can afford to miss.
