Charlie Heyman has won the opening moto of the British Motocross Championship at Monster Mountain, finishing ahead of Jamie Keith and Charlie Richmond.
After a mediocre start, Gyan Doensen fought his way back through the field and closed in on the rear wheel of Richmond. However, he was unable to make the pass in the final lap and had to settle for fourth place, ahead of former Grand Prix winner Tommy Searle.
