Jarne Bervoets Finishes EMX250 Season with Top Ten in Turkey

Jarne Bervoets of Team VHR Yamaha Official EMX250 finished the 2026 season on a positive note. During the season finale at the MXGP of Turkey, the Belgian rider secured tenth place overall. In the final championship standings, Bervoets finished seventeenth.

On the hard-packed track of Afyonkarahisar, Bervoets started his weekend with the fourteenth-fastest time in timed practice. This secured him a place in the middle of the starting field for the opening moto on Saturday afternoon.

In the first race, Bervoets held his own well. He rode a consistent moto and eventually crossed the finish line in eleventh place.

On Sunday morning, the second and final EMX250 moto of the season was on the programme. Bervoets managed to improve slightly on his result from the previous day, finishing in tenth place.

With an 11-10 scorecard, the Team VHR Yamaha rider collected enough points to secure tenth place overall in Afyon. This allowed him to end his EMX250 campaign with a top-ten result. In the final championship standings, Bervoets finished seventeenth.

Jarne Bervoets: “Overall, it was a good weekend and I’m happy with the result. I had a good feeling on the bike, which is positive. There are still a few details I need to work on this winter, but I’m already looking forward to next season. We’ll see what next year brings and which team I will be riding for.”
