Broken hand for Isak Gifting
Isak Gifting of the JK Racing Yamaha team suffered a broken hand in the crash at the start of the MXGP qualifying in France. Due to the pain, Gifting decided to skip the rest of the Grand Prix.
Upon further examination, the doctors found a fracture in his hand. Six days later, Gifting had to get back on the bike because he is in the lead in the standings of the Italian Championship, which continued this weekend in Montevarchi. Gifting managed to finish fifth in the daily rankings and thus managed to limit the damage. After the race in Montevarchi he remains in the lead in the standings.
However, Gifting and the team have decided to take a break and skip the German Grand Prix anyway. When he will be back isn’t decided yet.
