The Reisulis brothers of Monster Energy Yamaha Factory Racing MX2 both finished on the podium during the second round of the Dutch Masters of Motocross in Harfsen.
On the well-prepared circuit, both riders started practice highly motivated. They were both in the first group, where Janis set the fastest time, while Karlis struggled to find a good rhythm and had to settle for the eighth fastest time.

In the first moto, Janis got off to a very strong start and emerged as the leader after the opening lap. He set a high pace and began to pull away from the competition. However, in the second half of the race, the rider in second place started to close the gap, and they came together in the final stages. Janis tried to secure the victory but had to relinquish the lead in the final lap and finished second. Karlis did not get a good start and had to work his way forward from outside the top ten. During the race, he managed to pass rider after rider and eventually fought his way up to third place.
Due to heavy rainfall, the second motos were canceled, meaning the results of the first moto also determined the overall classification for the day. In the current standings of the Dutch Masters of Motocross, Janis and Karlis now hold second and third place. The championship will continue on Sunday, May 17, in Markelo.
