Fan Favourite Adam Chatfield is racing for team S.Briggs in the Wright Engineering team race at VMXdN Hawkstone 2026 on the August bank holiday weekend. The 39-year-old journeyman racer has plied his trade globally for many seasons putting in some cracking rides over the years.
Chatfield, who hails from Wiltshire, has spent the majority of his formative years Stateside with much success. Since then, he has proven his ability over and over again, especially on the tight Arenacross tour. Though that skill isn’t going to help him on the wide-open Hawkstone Park circuit, he is bang up for the challenge and lists Hawkstone as one of his favourite circuits to race.
Back on the S.Briggs squad, he has a team and bike that’s more than capable of getting him on the top step of the podium come Sunday afternoon. Chatfield’s pedigree is notable, to say the least. boasting the following titles amongst his accolades.
- Brazilian Motocross Champion
- Arenacross UK Champion
- Top 10 Finish in AMA Supercross Lites Class
- Eighth Place at Glen Helen AMA Outdoor National
Chatfield is infamous for utilising the claiming rule to buy Mike Alessi’s CRF 150 at Loretta’s one year, let’s be happy that rule doesn’t exist at VMXdN!
The countdown to VMXdN 2026, proudly brought to you by Main Sponsor – The Range, has well and truly begun, and this year, everything has shifted up a gear. For 2026 VMXdN is making the move to the stunning Hawkstone Park circuit, one of motocross’s most iconic and beloved venues.
With anticipation at an all-time high, and momentum building by the day, fans, riders, and industry insiders alike are being asked to hold tight, because the rider announcements have only just begun, and there is more to come.
Spectator tickets and camping passes are available here https://www.vmxdnhawkstone.com/buy-tickets
If you plan to camp, be quick to secure your camping pass, be it regular or VIP (where you can watch the racing from your own awning). The promoters have secured additional fields from local landowners, but spaces are still limited and selling fast.
