Jaymian Ramakers Ends Season Early Due to Virus

Jaymian Ramakers will not return to action this year. The SixtySeven Racing Team rider has been dealing with the effects of a persistent virus for several months and has therefore decided to sit out the remainder of the season.

Ramakers has been noticeably quiet on social media in recent weeks. He has now provided some clarity about his situation. A few months ago, he contracted a virus, the effects of which have significantly limited him ever since.

Due to his ongoing symptoms, it has been decided that he will not return behind the starting gate this season. For now, his full focus is on his recovery.

Jaymian Ramakers: “I know it has been pretty quiet from my side over the past few weeks, so I wanted to explain what is going on. A few months ago, I caught a pretty severe virus and it has been holding me back enormously ever since. As a result, I will not be lining up at the start again this year.”
