Fantic Factory Racing to Miss Final Two MXGP Rounds in China and Australia

With the weekend approaching, we would like to share a message from Jacky Martens, Fantic Factory Racing MXGP team owner:

“I wanted to take a minute to explain why we won’t see our riders behind the gate in China and Australia. It was an unfortunate combination of both Alberto and Brent suffering injuries within just a few weeks of each other, together with the complex timing and logistics involved in overseas GPs.

It was a really difficult situation, as there was no way for us to know whether our riders would be fit to race the final two rounds by the time we needed to send the crates with the equipment. We tried our best and even sent the race fuel overseas to be ready just in case, but in the end, the timing simply didn’t work out.

We will always do whatever we can to show up and represent the brand and our valuable partners. That is why we brought in Jörgen-Matthias Talviku for an extra round in Türkiye, despite initially only having agreed on a three-round fill-in stint. Alberto then joined him thanks to a last-minute decision, after only a little over a week back on his bike, and we were really happy to see him perform so well.

Now the work continues, and we will be back for the Motocross of Nations in Ernée, France, in three weeks. Thank you all for your continued support!”
