Jeremy Seewer will not line up at this weekend’s MXGP of the Netherlands in Arnhem. The Swiss rider from Van Venrooy KTM Racing Team is still suffering too much from the effects of his heavy crash during the Grand Prix of Sweden.
Seewer suffered a heavy crash during the opening moto in Uddevalla last weekend. While running around eleventh position, he landed on a rock after a jump and hit the ground hard. He attempted to take part in the second moto on Sunday, but was forced to retire after just one lap due to pain in his back and shoulder.
On Thursday, Seewer got back on the bike to assess whether competing in the Dutch Grand Prix would be possible. However, it became clear that he is still experiencing too much discomfort from the crash.
