Kevin Brumann will not line up this weekend at the MXGP of the Netherlands in Arnhem. The Swiss rider suffered a heavy blow to the head during his serious crash at last Sunday’s Grand Prix of Sweden.
Following the incident in Uddevalla, Brumann had already indicated that he was doing well considering the circumstances. However, it has now become clear that competing in Arnhem would not be responsible. His full focus is now on his recovery and returning to the bike as soon as possible.
Kevin Brumann:
“Following last Sunday’s crash, I suffered a hard blow to my head. Unfortunately, this means I will have to miss the next MXGP in Arnhem. We are now fully focused on my recovery, and I am doing everything I can to get back on the bike as soon as possible.”
Brumann also thanked his team, sponsors, family and supporters for all the support and messages he has received over the past few days.
