Francisco Garcia won the first moto of the EMX250 class in Finland, with Nikolaj Skovbjerg finishing second and Noel Zanocz taking third.
Janis Martins Reisulis crashed early in the race and later came into contact with Noel Zanocz in the heat of the battle, causing him to crash again. In the incident, his shoulder dislocated. Despite this, he managed to finish in ninth place.
Ivano van Erp and Bradley Mesters rode solid races, finishing fifth and sixth respectively. Gyan Doensen had a strong start but retired from the race after a few laps.
