The penultimate stage of the Dakar Rally was won by Tosha Schareina of the HRC Honda team. Schareina crossed the finish line with a 33-second lead over Luciano Benavides, with Adrien van Beveren also finishing within a minute. Ricky Brabec and Jose Cornejo secured fourth and fifth places, respectively.
Daniel Sanders, who leads the overall standings, finished sixth and now has a 9-minute lead over Schareina with only tomorrow’s stage remaining. Adrien van Beveren is in third place, trailing Sanders by just under sixteen minutes.
