Hero MotoSports Team Rally has announced its rider line-up for the 2027 season. The manufacturer will compete in the World Rally-Raid Championship (W2RC) with four experienced rally riders. Ross Branch, Nacho Cornejo, David Braceras and Michael Docherty will form the line-up as Hero prepares to take on the competition in the new season.
With Ross Branch, Hero has a former Rally-Raid World Champion in its ranks. The rider from Botswana has been a key member of the team for several years and has proven that he can compete at the highest level. Chilean rider Nacho Cornejo also brings plenty of experience to the team. The former Honda factory rider has claimed several stage victories in the Dakar Rally.

An interesting addition to the line-up is David Braceras. The Spaniard recently announced that he would be bringing his professional motocross career to an end to focus entirely on rally-raid. His move to Hero MotoSports gives him the opportunity to further develop his skills in a completely new discipline, with competing in the Dakar Rally being one of his main ambitions.
The fourth rider is South African Michael Docherty. He has demonstrated his speed in rally-raid over the past few years and will be a valuable addition to the team’s international line-up.
With these four riders, Hero MotoSports combines experience and talent. The manufacturer aims to play a major role in the 2027 World Rally-Raid Championship once again, with the Dakar Rally being one of the highlights of the season.
