Gyan Doensen Currently Without a Team for 2027 After MX2 Deal Falls Through

Gyan Doensen’s future for the 2027 season has suddenly become uncertain. The Dutch motocross talent appeared to be close to an agreement for the MX2 World Championship, but those plans have now fallen through. Following his departure from Gabriel SS24 KTM Factory Juniors, Doensen is currently without a team for next season.

Doensen had been working towards the next step in his career and securing a place in the MX2 World Championship. Negotiations appeared to be progressing in the right direction, but the intended partnership will ultimately not go ahead.

In a statement, Doensen expressed his disappointment with the situation but made it clear that he has no intention of giving up on his ambitions.

“Unfortunately, my original plans for the 2027 season will not go ahead. Although this is an unexpected setback, my ambition and determination to pursue my dream are stronger than ever,” Doensen stated.
