The KTM Racestore Team has announced its rider line-up for the 2027 season. With Niccolò Mannini and Andrea Uccellini, the Italian team is putting its faith in two young talents who will each take on an ambitious racing programme. Uccellini will make his debut in the MX2 World Championship, while Mannini will focus on the European and Italian Championships.
Just 16 years old, Andrea Uccellini returns to the KTM Racestore Team and is about to take an important step in his career. For the first time, he will compete in the MX2 World Championship. The Italian Championship is also on his schedule.
Uccellini’s 2026 season came to an early end due to injury, but his recovery is progressing well. The young Italian expects to resume riding his bike soon.
“For me, it will be a season full of new experiences and undoubtedly a huge challenge. However, as a team, we are ready and cannot wait to get started. Both in the World Championship and in the Prestige Championship, I want to get as close as possible to the top riders, continue to improve myself and learn to match their pace,” Uccellini explains.
“My recovery from the injury is going well. In a few days, I will be back on the bike, after which I will follow a winter training programme under the guidance of Jacky Vimond.”
Niccolò Mannini is also returning to the KTM Racestore Team. The Italian raced for the team several years ago and now returns with more experience and clear ambitions.
In 2027, Mannini will focus on the European and Italian Championships. He will be supported by several familiar faces within the team.
“It has been a few years since I last raced for Racestore. During that time, I have matured and developed a tremendous desire to succeed. I feel that I now have the right people around me,” Mannini says.
“Paolo Menacci and I have known each other for a long time. Alessandro Pagliacci and Daniele Salucci will also be part of the team. They are two incredibly important people to me. This season, I want to fight at the front in both the European and Italian Championships.”
