Joey Savatgy and Quad Lock Honda will go their separate ways after three seasons together. The American motocross rider has said goodbye to the Australian team through his social media channels. Savatgy looks back on the past few years with great appreciation and thanks everyone who contributed to the partnership.
Savatgy has been part of Quad Lock Honda for the past three seasons, during which he received support from team owner Yarrive Konsky and his technical staff.
In a personal message on social media, the American reflected on his time with the team.
“There is so much to be thankful for. The last three years have flown by, and I appreciate everyone who has been there for me and helped me along the way,” Savatgy said.
He also expressed his gratitude to the people who have supported him over the past few years.
“From Yarrive, who initially gave me an opportunity with the team, to my mechanic Nathan Alexander, who put up with all my quirks and made sure I always had the best equipment available. And, of course, my favourite suspension specialists at Active Ride. You guys are awesome, and I’m proud of what we’ve achieved together.”
