After eighteen months of collaboration, Oriol Oliver and Gabriel SS24 KTM Factory Juniors have decided to part ways. The team has said goodbye to the Spaniard, who made the switch from the MX2 to the MXGP class together with the British outfit.
Oliver and Gabriel SS24 began a new adventure this season by stepping up to the 450 class. According to the team, both parties took a risk with the move, but the decision ultimately paid off.
During their time together, Oliver achieved nine podium finishes in the British Championship, competing in both the MX2 and MX1 classes. On his 450 debut, he immediately secured a podium finish, while he also recorded several top-ten results in the FIM Motocross World Championship. In addition, he claimed the Fox Holeshot at his home Grand Prix.
“It has been a pleasure working with Oriol over the past eighteen months, from his move from MX2 to MXGP,” Gabriel SS24 KTM Factory Juniors stated. “Both Oriol and Gabriel SS24 took a risk heading into this season, and that decision has certainly paid off.”
The team therefore looks back on their time together with great satisfaction.
“We are extremely proud of what we have achieved together and would like to thank Oriol for his commitment, professionalism and hard work throughout our time together.”
Where Oliver will continue his career in 2027 has not been revealed in the announcement. Gabriel SS24 KTM Factory Juniors wishes him all the best for the future.
