With just one round remaining in the 2026 SuperMotocross season, the tension continues to build. In a new episode of Title 24, Ricky Carmichael and Ryan Villopoto take an in-depth look at the key events from the second SMX Playoff and look ahead to the all-important finale.
One of the main topics of discussion is the situation between teammates Haiden Deegan and Cooper Webb. Tension between Deegan and the three-time Supercross champion has increased as the battle for the first-ever 450SMX title of the season approaches its conclusion.
Jorge Prado also plays a major role in the championship battle. The Spaniard heads into the final round as the points leader, where the 2026 450SMX champion will be crowned.
In the 250 class, the championship battle also took a major turn during the second Playoff. Cole Davies, who was one of the leading title contenders heading into the event, crashed and saw his championship hopes disappear. As a result, the focus heading into the finale is now firmly on Levi Kitchen and Ryder DiFrancesco, who are both chasing the 250SMX title.
