VMXDN DAY ONE – FRIDAY!
Tommy’s sorted… kind of. Almost. We think! 😅
Tonight, all eyes are on the White Chesterfield Yamahas, built for VMXdN Hawkstone 2026 and faithfully recreating the iconic 1993 look from the year before Yamaha switched to black.
Evo MX has absolutely smashed it with the graphics and seat covers on these bikes. The bike we’re looking at tonight is the original Ryan Villopoto bike that he raced back in 2022, and this particular build is for Jeremy Martin.
If you were at the MXGP at Foxhill, you may have already spotted it in the flesh. But trust me — seeing seven of these lined up together looks absolutely epic!
We’ll take you through exactly how we prepare these machines, just like we did back in our days as race mechanics. We’ll also give you a proper 101 on vented front number plates. They looked cool back in the day, they look just as cool now, and these will be available to buy on the DocWob website very soon!
Other builds currently underway are for Phil Nicoletti, Alessio Chiodi and Ryan Sipes.
Oh, and make sure you stick around, because we let slip a little secret about Yamaha/Suzuki crossover parts. Who knew?! 😂
Every day is a school day here at DocWob! 👍
