Ricardo Bauer Wins Thrilling Second EMX125 Moto

Ricardo Bauer also won the second EMX125 moto, but the Austrian had to fight all the way to the finish to keep Levi Townley behind him. Townley started the race around fifth place before charging through the field with an impressive ride to finish second. Ryan Opligger completed the podium in third.

Liam Bruneau and Bertram Thorius rounded out the top five.

After crashing out on the opening lap of Saturday’s first moto, Dex Kooiker bounced back to finish as the highest-placed Dutch rider in 13th. Timo Heuver crossed the line in 23rd, while Jannes Vos finished 34th.

Belgium’s Seth Priem came home in 33rd, while his compatriot Torre van Mechgelen retired to the paddock after a crash.

With his two moto victories, Ricardo Bauer secured the overall win ahead of Bertram Thorius and Levi Townley. In the championship standings, Bauer now holds a 23-point advantage over second-placed rider and injured teammate Moritz Ernecker.
