Rick Elzinga Shows Progress in ADAC MX Masters at Tensfeld

Rick Elzinga of Van Venrooy KTM Racing enjoyed a positive weekend at the ADAC MX Masters round in Tensfeld. Elzinga used the event to further familiarize himself with the KTM SX-F 450 and to improve his race rhythm. The approach paid off, as he made steady progress throughout the weekend and secured a solid sixth-place finish in the third moto.

After a crash in the opening moto left him no higher than 21st place, Elzinga bounced back in the second race with a 12th-place finish. He improved further in the third moto, crossing the line in sixth place.

Rick Elzinga commented:

“The pieces of the puzzle are coming together better and better, and things improved throughout the weekend. I’m going home with a good feeling, although the result is not yet where we want it to be. We need to improve our ability to find speed more quickly during a race weekend, but that’s something we’ll continue working on.”

Next weekend, Van Venrooy Racing will compete in the MXGP of Italy in Montevarchi.
