Motocross enthusiasts around the world have been eagerly awaiting it, and now the wait is over: Kawasaki has unveiled the all-new two-stroke KX327.
The KX327 is powered by Kawasaki’s completely new fuel-injected two-stroke single-cylinder engine. With this model, Kawasaki ushers in a new era for two-stroke motorcycles, offering consistent pulling power, immediate throttle response, and an exceptionally lightweight overall package. The new engine delivers a linear power character, strong traction at very low rpm, and the sharp throttle response riders have come to expect from a modern KX.
The engine features an electric starter and an expansion chamber exhaust system equipped with a specially designed power valve. The power valve is applied to both the main and secondary exhaust ports. Combined with fuel and ignition mapping, and by continuously adjusting exhaust port timing, the system smooths out the peaky nature traditionally associated with two-stroke engines. The result is a more even power distribution and smooth power delivery throughout the entire rev range.
Using a handlebar-mounted switch, riders can also choose from different power modes, allowing the engine’s characteristics to be easily tailored to riding conditions or personal preferences. A dedicated dual-injection system ensures excellent throttle response and controllable torque delivery. To further enhance smoothness and reduce vibration, the engine is equipped with a balance shaft.

The KX327 combines its sharp performance with modern, slim styling and ergonomically optimized bodywork. A close-ratio five-speed transmission with a hydraulic clutch helps riders keep the engine operating within its optimal power range.
At the front, the KX327 is fitted with a 48 mm KYB fork, while Kawasaki’s proven Uni-Trak rear suspension provides traction and stability at the rear. Thanks to ERGO-FIT adjustability for the handlebars and footpegs, the riding position can be precisely tailored to the rider’s preferences. Mapping and other settings can also be adjusted via smartphone using Rideology The App KX2.
ODI Lock-On grips, quick-release side covers for fast air filter access, a Renthal handlebar, and EXCEL wheels complete the KX327’s highly capable package.
The new KX327 will be available from Kawasaki Motocross dealers starting in mid-January 2027. For more information, visit the Kawasaki website.
