Daniela Guillén wins second WMX race and the French Grand Prix

Daniela Guillén won the second race of the WMX class, with the Spaniard finishing 20 seconds ahead of Kiara Fontanesi.

Lotte van Drunen finished third in the second race, ahead of Courtney Duncan and April Franzoni. Shana van der Vlist came seventh, Danee Gelissen finished ninth, and Lynn Valk placed 11th. Amber Simons claimed the final World Championship point with 20th place, while Kashyra Das crashed in the opening lap and was forced to retire from the race.

The best-placed Belgian rider was Amandine Verstappen in eighth place, while Maxime Breugelmans finished 21st.

With her victory in the second race, Daniela Guillén also secured the overall win and becomes the first leader of the FIM Women’s Motocross World Championship standings. Kiara Fontanesi finished second overall (2-1), while April Franzoni took third (3-5). Lotte van Drunen narrowly missed the podium, ending the Grand Prix in fourth place.
