Francesco Bellei has suffered a major setback during the ADAC race in Grevenbroich. The rider crashed and sustained a fracture to his left collarbone. He also twisted his knee, which will keep him out of action for the time being.
The day had started strongly for Bellei, who set the fastest time (P1) in qualifying. However, things went wrong in the first moto, and he was forced to retire after his crash.
Despite the disappointment, Bellei remains realistic: “It was a good weekend, but this is motocross—this can happen.”
