Vencislav Toshev Scores Two Points in Challenging EMX125 Race in Germany

Vencislav Toshev of AIT Racing managed to score two points at the eighth round of the EMX125 Championship in Teutschenthal, Germany. He earned these points with a 19th place finish in the first moto. In the second moto, he was unable to do better than 26th.

There was a large turnout for the event, which led to the riders being split into two groups for practice. Toshev was placed in the second group but struggled to set a fast lap during time practice. Despite determined efforts, he had to settle for the 12th fastest time in his group. While this was enough to qualify, it left him with a less than ideal gate pick for both motos.

From his gate position, it was difficult for Toshev to get a good start. In both motos, he also found it hard to ride the way he wanted. As a result, he only managed to score points with a 19th place finish in the first moto.

In the second moto, he couldn’t get beyond 26th, which placed him 23rd overall in the day’s standings. With four rounds remaining in the EMX125 Championship, Toshev currently sits 17th in the standings.

The championship continues next weekend in Kegums, Latvia. In addition to Toshev, Hakon Osterhagen and Jake Davies will also be competing there in the EMX250 class.
