Short Description:
Ernecker Bros is a 35-minute independent documentary by ALRATE, a creative production collective, telling the story of two Austrian brothers chasing one shared goal: becoming world-class motocross riders – supported solely by their family.
Filmed across parts of the season in Europe – including the ADAC MX Masters, EMX events, and their home in Austria’s Attergau region – the film offers an honest, emotional, and immersive insight into the world of youth motocross.
Produced entirely without sponsors or external funding, this self-initiated ALRATE project captures what it truly means to grow up in competitive motorsport. From grueling training and race days to personal family moments, Ernecker Bros reflects ambition, sacrifice, and emotional strength.
Shot on RED cinema cameras and developed with a documentary-first mindset, this film is an example of authentic, visually driven storytelling from inside the motocross scene.
