The MXGP of France in Ernee was BONKERS. The track was mint, the weather was decent (for a change) and the crowd was electric! However, it wasn’t all smooth sailing. Monster Energy Yamaha Factory MX2’s Rick Elzinga went down hard in the MX2 Qualifying Race and broke his collarbone. He happened to be wearing a #GoPro, so the footage has been included in this episode of #InsideMXGP.
In a comeback story, our 2024 YZ125 #BLUCRU FIM Europe Cup winner, Jamie Keith, returned to the track after battling through multiple injuries this season, and pinned points to the board.
But the highlight was Isak Gifting! Gifting, the Swedish Viking, bounced back from a concussion to clinch an impressive P4 finish in #MXGP Race 2, denying Red Bull KTM’s Jeffrey Herlings a podium spot. It was INSANE!
