The AIT Racing team scored a top fifteen position at the final round of the World Championship MX2 in Cozar, Spain. William Kleemann finished in fifteenth place in the opening moto while Federico Tuani came close of scoring a top fifteen position as well as he came home in sixteenth in the second moto. Venicslav Toshev was unfortunate in the EMX125 because he was disqualified after finishing in fifteenth place in the first moto. In the second moto he crashed in the opening lap and charged all the way back to 23rd position.
Tuani had to play catch up in the first moto after a small crash in the opening lap. He gave everything he had and worked his way back up to fifteenth position. Unfortunately he had to lower the pace due to arm pump and dropped down to the eighteenth position. In the second moto he took a good start but didn’t had the pace to stay with the riders in front of him. He did what he could and finished the race in sixteenth position.
Kleemann was riding a strong first moto and managed to finish in fifteenth position. With this results he scored six World Championship points. In the second moto he had a nasty get off and decided to retire a few laps later.
Vencislav Toshev was riding in the EMX125 class. In the opening moto he was riding a strong race and finished in fifteenth position. Unfortunately he was disqualified after the race and lost his well deserved six championship points. The second moto started with misfortune for Toshev because he crashed in the opening lap. During the race he managed to pass a lot of riders but finally finished just outside of the points in 23rd position.
The season is finished now for the AIT Racing team. The team would like to thank their crew, their partners and the fans for this season.
