Eli Tomac and Julien Beaumer emerged victorious in the second round of the AMA Supercross Championship held in San Diego.
In the 450 class, Tomac won the final after an intense battle with Jett Lawrence. Cooper Webb secured third place ahead of Ken Roczen and Hunter Lawrence.
Chase Sexton suffered an early crash but fought his way back from the rear to finish in sixth place.
Jorge Prado qualified for the final through the Last Chance Qualifier and ended in twelfth place.
In the 250 class, Beaumer claimed the first victory of his career. Jordon Smith took second place, followed by Haiden Deegan. Cole Davies and Ryder DiFrancesco rounded out the top five. Despite two broken fingers, Jo Shimoda managed to finish in seventh place.
With their victories, Tomac and Beaumer have also become the new championship leaders.
