José Butrón will return to the MXGP World Championship in 2026. The 35-year-old Butrón has already claimed eleven Spanish titles but has been absent from the world championship for several years.
In 2026, he will make his comeback with the support of TRT Motorcycles.
“It will not be an easy challenge, but those who know me are aware that I like to take on my own challenges, and returning to the highest championship in the world motivates me enormously,” says Butrón.
On March 22, Butrón will race his first Grand Prix of the season in Andalucía, Spain.
