Full List of Australian Wildcards Announced for the MXGP of Australia in Darwin

Darwin, 28 August 2025 – The complete line-up of local wildcard riders for the highly anticipated MXGP of Australia has now been confirmed. From 19 to 21 September, a total of 25 riders selected from the 2025 Penrite ProMX Championship, presented by AMX Superstores, will compete in the international MXGP, MX2 and WMX classes at the Darwin circuit.

The first 15 wildcard entries were announced in July, and now 10 more names have been added to the list. This strong representation highlights the overwhelming support from the Australian motocross community for the long-awaited return of the prestigious FIM Motocross World Championship to Australian soil.

All wildcard selections have been made by Motorcycling Australia and officially endorsed by Infront Moto Racing, the rights holder of MXGP.
