MX2 Championship Leader Simon Laengenfelder Set to Race at Keiheuvel

This coming Sunday, the prestigious international motocross race at the Keiheuvel circuit in Mol will take place — and it promises to be another standout event on Belgian soil. The entry list is packed with top-tier MXGP riders, making it one of the highlights of the summer calendar.

Due to an injury, Cas Valk has decided not to compete. His place will be taken by none other than current MX2 World Championship leader Simon Laengenfelder. With a 38-point lead over Kay de Wolf in the fight for the world title, the German rider sees Keiheuvel as the perfect opportunity to get in some valuable sand training ahead of the upcoming GP in Arnhem.

In addition to Laengenfelder, fans can look forward to appearances from several more world-class names. His teammates Lucas Coenen, Sacha Coenen, and Andrea Adamo, as well as Jeffrey Herlings from the Red Bull KTM Factory Racing team, are all confirmed to line up at the start gate in Mol.
