Lucas Coenen Dominates First MXGP Moto in Loket

Lucas Coenen delivered a commanding performance to win the first MXGP moto in Loket The young Belgian took the holeshot and quickly built a comfortable lead. Ruben Fernandez finished second, ahead of the impressive Slovenian Jan Pancar in third.

Glenn Coldenhoff was the top Dutch finisher, crossing the line in fourth place. MXGP World Championship points leader Romain Febvre battled with both Pancar and Fernandez for much of the race and looked set for second place, but a mistake in the final lap forced him to settle for fifth.

Brian Bogers finished in 11th place, just ahead of fellow Dutchman Calvin Vlaanderen. Roan van de Moosdijk recovered strongly after a poor start to take 15th.
