Jordi Tixier Dominates Saturday Night at Dutch Supercross in Assen

The tenth edition of the International Dutch Supercross in Assen delivered an exciting evening of motocross action on Saturday night. For the first time, the event was held at the Expo Hal Assen, where packed grandstands witnessed thrilling races and international competition across several classes. In the SX1 class, former MX2 World Champion Jordi Tixier was the man to beat.

The Frenchman had already demonstrated his speed during Superpole, setting the fastest lap time to secure an excellent starting position for the final. He was equally impressive in the concluding SX1 final, where the Bleekinfra Racing/JT911 Team rider proved untouchable. Tixier quickly pulled away from his rivals and claimed a convincing victory.

Behind Tixier, American rider Ryan Breece secured second place, while Germany’s Nico Koch completed the podium in third.

In the SX2 class, victory went to Frenchman Mickael Lamarque. The VMZ Racing rider, representing the team of former supercross star Rinus van de Ven, managed to take the win in the final.

American Jesson Turner finished second, while Frenchman Jules Pietre claimed third place, giving the SX2 class an international podium.

There was also plenty of action in the youth classes, with riders battling hard for the victories. In the 65cc class, Luca Karsten proved to be the strongest across the two motos, finishing ahead of Ortus Simons and Jax Adams.

In the 85cc class, victory went to John Slade Junior. Lenny Herbig finished second, while Eddie Haustein took third place.

In the National class, Julian Spatz came out on top. He finished ahead of Joey Daneel and Henk Pater to claim the victory.
