Amandine Verstappen will begin a new chapter in her career in 2027. The Belgian has reached an agreement with Yamaha Motor Benelux and will compete as an official Yamaha rider and brand ambassador. At the same time, Verstappen is launching her own team: Verstappen WMX Racing Team.
For Verstappen, the partnership with Yamaha Motor Benelux means more than just a new agreement as a rider. By establishing her own team, she is also taking an important step off the track.
“I’m extremely happy to announce that I have signed with Yamaha Motor Benelux as an official rider and brand ambassador,” Verstappen said. “This new adventure also marks the start of my own team: Verstappen WMX Racing Team.”
Under the Verstappen WMX Racing Team banner, Verstappen will continue her racing career on Yamaha machinery. Further details regarding the team structure and race programme have not yet been announced.
