Matt Moss to Race for Joe Rascal Racing Ducati in Australian Supercross

Joe Rascal Racing Ducati Factory Team has signed Matt Moss for the 2026 Australian Supercross Championship. The nine-time Australian champion will take on a special role, as he will race the Ducati Desmo450 MX in a supercross event for the very first time.

Moss has been one of the biggest names in Australian motocross and supercross for many years. His career also took him to the United States, where he competed in the AMA Supercross Championship. In 2012, he claimed his first AMA Supercross podium in San Diego.

Moss has also enjoyed plenty of success on home soil. In 2013 and 2014, he won both the Australian Open Supercross and MX1 titles. During the 2014 Australian Open Supercross Championship, he also won all but one of the races.

For the 2026 season, Moss begins a new chapter with Joe Rascal Racing. At the same time, Ducati will make history, as the Desmo450 MX will compete in supercross for the first time.

Moss was impressed with his first experience on the Ducati.

Matt Moss: “The Ducati feels very comfortable underneath me and suits my forward-riding style really well. It feels like the bike was designed around the way I ride.”

Moss is also looking forward to racing in front of his home fans again.

“I want to make the Australian fans proud and give them plenty to be excited about this season.”

The Australian Supercross Championship will consist of five rounds this season.
