Lotte van Drunen has further underlined her strong form at the third round of the American WMX Championship in High Point. After setting the fastest time in the first qualifying session earlier in the day, the Dutch rider once again topped the timesheets in the second session.
The two-time world champion from De Baets AIT Racing once again outpaced her rivals, with Lachlan Turner and Mayla Herrick finishing in second and third place respectively.
By posting the fastest time in both qualifying sessions, Van Drunen has sent a clear message ahead of the motos. Following a difficult previous round, the Dutch rider has shown that she feels right at home on the American circuit and has the speed needed to challenge for victory.
