Jeremy Seewer Reacts for the First Time to His Departure from Ducati

Jeremy Seewer has publicly reacted for the first time to his departure from the Red Bull Ducati Factory MXGP Team. The Swiss rider confirmed via social media that he and Ducati will be going their separate ways, bringing an eighteen-month partnership to an end.

Seewer reflected on a period in which he and Ducati shared several historic moments together. He secured the Italian manufacturer’s first-ever MXGP podium and also celebrated a podium finish at his home Grand Prix in Frauenfeld.

“As most of you have seen by now, Ducati and I are going our separate ways. Our journey began one and a half years ago. Although it wasn’t always easy, we experienced some special moments together, including Ducati’s first MXGP podium and one of my personal highlights: standing on the podium at my home race in Frauenfeld.”

The Swiss rider also thanked Ducati, the Maddii Racing Team, and the Red Bull Ducati Factory MXGP Team for their support throughout the partnership. He expressed his appreciation to his personal sponsors and the fans who have continued to support him over the years.

Despite the current situation, Seewer is already looking ahead to a return to the highest level of competition. In doing so, he highlighted an impressive statistic from his career.

“Through my consistency, I have made 229 consecutive starts in the MX2 and MXGP classes. That means I haven’t missed a single MX2 or MXGP race since 2013. While it is not yet clear when that will be, I am determined to return to the starting gate.”

Where Seewer’s future lies remains unknown for now. Over the past few days, images have surfaced of the Swiss rider on a Suzuki motorcycle, immediately fueling speculation about his next move. However, Seewer has not yet provided any further details regarding his future plans.

With his statement, the former MXGP runner-up made it clear that his career is far from over and that he is determined to make a return to professional racing.
