Max Nagl and Roan van de Moosdijk were leading the first moto of the ADAC Masters Series in Tensfeld together until they came upon two fallen riders behind a jump in a corner. Nagl was the first to reach the incident, and because Van de Moosdijk was right behind him, he was unable to avoid the crashed riders and went down as well.
Nagl, who was injured in the crash, managed to crawl to the side of the track, while Van de Moosdijk was able to continue the race on a damaged motorcycle. With four minutes remaining, the race was red-flagged because Nagl required assistance from the medical crew.
Tom Koch took the victory ahead of Roan van de Moosdijk and Noah Ludwig.
