Guillem Farrés won the opening MX2 race after taking the lead from Sacha Coenen on the first lap when the Belgian crashed. The Spaniard then managed to keep Mathis Valin behind him for the win.
Camden McLellan finished third ahead of reigning world champion and current championship leader Simon Längenfelder. Liam Everts was classified in fifth place.
Gyan Doensen crossed the finish line in 15th place, earning six World Championship points. Scott Smulders crashed on the opening lap and was later assisted by medical staff trackside. Kay Karssemakers also failed to finish, although the reason for his retirement is still unknown.
Sacha Coenen eventually recovered to finish eighth, while Douwe van Mechgelen placed 21st.
