Alessandro Lupino of the Ducati Corse team was injured on Sunday during the second round of the Italian Championship in Maggiora. Lupino finished third in the first moto of the 450 class, but suffered an unfortunate crash in the second moto, resulting in a broken nose and a neck contusion.
