Major setback for Marc-Antoine Rossi

Marc-Antoine Rossi has suffered a serious injury during the Italian Enduro Championship. The French rider tore his anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) and damaged his meniscus, making surgery necessary.

Just a few weeks ago, it was announced that Marc-Antoine had made the switch to enduro after ending his motocross career, but that move has now been put on hold for the time being.

The injury came at a particularly unfortunate moment. Rossi was feeling strong and had started to notice the results of the work he had put in over the past weeks. However, things went wrong during the second session when he put his foot on the ground and severely injured his knee.

“There are no words to describe how sad I am. I was feeling really good on this first day of the Italian Championship. Every session was getting better, and I could feel the results of the work from the past few weeks. But in the second session, I put my foot down and tore my ACL and meniscus. I will need surgery to repair everything. My first year is over, which is really disappointing because I was enjoying it so much. Now I have a long road ahead to come back stronger than ever. Luckily, I have very good people around me,” said the unfortunate Frenchman.
