WORLD CHAMP CLARKE NAMED IN MTF SQUAD FOR VMXDN

With a change of venue in 2026, the picture could not be clearer: VMXdN is back, bigger and better than ever. Heading to the historic Hawkstone Park circuit and presented by The Range, the most anticipated event on the British motocross calendar is showing absolutely no signs of slowing down. With ticket sales already registering a staggering 350% increase on the 2025 event, the excitement surrounding this year’s four-day spectacular is at an all-time high, and it’s only going to grow. Held across its traditional slot of the August Bank Holiday weekend, August 27th–30th, the countdown is well and truly on.

Next to be announced on the riders’ list is former World Champion Steven Clarke, who will spearhead the MTF squad in the prestigious international team race. The Midlands-based racer is no stranger to the iconic Grand Prix circuit and arrives in fine form, and with added motivation. Having recently become a father for the first time, Clarke’s focus is nothing short of laser sharp as he sets his sights firmly on delivering the result his talent deserves.

Known affectionately in the paddock as ‘Scuba’, Clarke spent a number of formative years racing in the USA, based out of the renowned Millsaps Training Facility in Cairo, Georgia — just a stone’s throw from the Florida state line and in close proximity to the legendary GOAT Farm, the iconic track originally belonging to Ricky Carmichael that has since been passed on to the Star Yamaha team as their workshop and test facility.

A true journeyman of the sport, Clarke cut his teeth on the AMA amateur national scene at the famous Loretta Lynn’s Ranch before progressing through the ranks into AMA Supercross, the outdoor nationals, and ultimately onto the world stage in the MXGP series. This is a man who knows what it takes, and with fellow heavy hitter ‘A-Rod’ Anthony Rodriguez already confirmed in the MTF line-up, make no mistake, this team means business.

The weekend gets underway when the gates open at 12 noon on Thursday, August 27th, and there is plenty to keep MX fans entertained long before the racing action begins. The trade village, open paddock and track walk are all well worth your time, though be warned, that hill is considerably steeper than it looks. Friday brings one of the weekend’s most popular highlights with Show‘N’Shine, a genuine feast for the eyes of any two-stroke aficionado. Then, with the gate dropping on Saturday morning, legends past and present from across the globe will line up to go bar to bar in the finest traditions of golden era 90s motocross.

VMXdN is the ultimate motocross event for fans of all ages, a weekend that has to be experienced to be believed.
