This weekend, the last race of the MXGP World Championship is scheduled in Spain. Toendel was involved in a crash at the start at the ADAC in Holzgerlingen last weekend and hurt his wrist and ribs.
Toendel had X-rays taken at the hospital and no fractures were found. Because the Schmicker KTM team will not travel to the final MXGP in Spain this weekend, Toendel will not ride here. He will now focus on the MX of Nations in Great Britain where he will ride for Team Norway.
Before the start of the Spanish Grand Prix, Toendel is in fifteenth place in the standings of the MXGP class.
