Bradley Mesters suffered a setback in the first moto of the ADAC Youngster Cup in Jauer. Mesters started the weekend convincingly by taking pole position in qualifying. Unfortunately, he was unable to convert this into a good result in the first moto. In the early stages, Mesters got a stone through his goggles and this caused a large cut above his eye. Mesters was covered in blood and was forced to retire from the race!
